In the Finnish Tradition

Finnlandia Club on Bay Street3 days / 2 nights
Thunder Bay boasts the largest Finnish population outside of Scandinavia. Finns love the outdoors, good food and their Sauna!

Your tastebuds will be treated to tasty thin, Finnish pancakes or Kala mojakka (fish soup) at Bay Street’s famous HOITO restaurant, written up several times  as one of the ‘best places to eat in Canada’.  Browse through fresh scented soaps or sauna brushes as you shop at Finnport, the Finnish Book and Kitchen Store or the Scandinavian Deli along Bay Street.

You can enjoy an authentic sauna privately in your own suite of 3 rooms at Kangas Sauna and - in winter - try a day of X-country skiing at Canada's largest cross country ski club. Sauna Supplies
